Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shevchenko, the Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai competitor from Peru and a mixed martial arts artist competing for the UFC at the flyweight division,, is at present in the Flyweight Division. She's older than her fellow UFC Fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her professional journey as a Muay Thai boxer. She first made an appearance in 2003 during the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won the competition and beat Suzane Mill in the finals with a unanimous verdict. Antonina Shevchenko won her second silver medal in 2007, with a bronze award in 2008. She also won winning gold in 2011 and won the title of 2015 IFMA World Amateur Muay Thailand Champion. Antonia started her professional career in 2003, and she won in the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 as well as the WMC as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina's last fight was against Isa Tsidblad Keskikangas, who was a participant at Phoenix Fighting Championship. She took the fight by unanimous decision. Antonina Shychenko's pro MMA debut was made in 2002, during the KFK Championships of Kyrgystan when she faced Anara Bayanova. She took victory through TKO at the end of second round. She was able to take home her next two fights at the WXF X-Impact World Championships, 2003. She was able to earn three wins in her MMA career. Shevchenko stopped for a few minutes from MMA and devoted her time to boxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 against Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko beat Anissa through a unanimous decision, and the next day, she defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. In 2018, she left the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina employed her impressive striking techniques for the fight to TKO Nievera in the clinch through knees that hit the body. In the aftermath of this win Antonina was able to sign an UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko suffered defeat to Roxanne modafferi by split decision in her first fight. Antonina bounced back from losing to beat Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission in the second round UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned her second fight of the evening for this bout. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in the next three fights. She beat Ariane Lipski, however she lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina was recently defeated by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
