Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko, the Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai competitor from Peru and a mixed martial arts artist competing for the UFC at the flyweight division,, is at present in the Flyweight Division. She's older than her fellow UFC Fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her professional journey as a Muay Thai boxer. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina employed her impressive striking techniques for the fight to TKO Nievera in the clinch through knees that hit the body. In the aftermath of this win Antonina was able to sign an UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko suffered defeat to Roxanne modafferi by split decision in her first fight. Antonina bounced back from losing to beat Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission in the second round UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned her second fight of the evening for this bout. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in the next three fights. She beat Ariane Lipski, however she lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina was recently defeated by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
